Contest for Volunteers This year we will be offering a scene design contest. Volunteers will design and execute their scene throughout the duration of the event according to specific rules. If criteria are met, the volunteers will be eligible for prizes. Winners will be determined by riders and awards will be given at the completion of the event. We are currently seeking volunteers and prize sponsors.
Businesses and organizations (sponsors) will pass out candy to Trick-or-Treaters from 5-6 PM. At 6 PM we will have a costume parade for participants. Sponsors will vote on costumes and prizes will be awarded to the kids. Hayrides will begin after the scheduled events are completed. We are looking for businesses and organizations to participate in the trick-or-treat as well as vendors for additional kids activities on this night only. What did you think of our hayride? Comments...jacilynne@aol.com Volunteers Needed William’s Grove Historical Steam Engine Association (WGHSEA) is planning a haunted hayride this fall and is currently looking for volunteers for every aspect of the hayride. We need help in the planning/design phase, making props and decorations, actors, parking, ticket sales and much more.
